Challenge
The customer had acquired a smaller, strategically selected company to complement its service offering. The next step was to integrate the smaller company into the larger acquiring organization—without losing existing customers, and ideally, increasing the customer base.
Assignment
The task involved identifying all business processes and associated responsibilities, as well as defining and executing integration activities. The assignment also included identifying areas requiring additional support to ensure a successful integration and documenting the work completed to create a knowledge base for future acquisitions.
Result
The smaller company was successfully integrated into the larger organization, with all processes aligned and the work carried out at a lower cost than initially estimated in the acquisition case. The combined customer base now has access to a broader range of services.
